Ethel Paola Pozo Letona is a passionate advocate for ethical tourism and women’s empowerment in Peru. Born and raised in a small Andean community, Ethel grew up surrounded by rich traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and resilient women whose stories deeply inspired her. From a young age, she recognized the potential of tourism not just as an economic tool, but as a way to protect culture, support local families, and build dignity through shared experiences.

Driven by her roots and a vision of social transformation, Ethel she become a driving force behind Inka Power Perú, a travel company dedicated to offering meaningful and responsible travel experiences. Her work centers on promoting sustainable tourism practices that respect the environment, celebrate Indigenous heritage, and generate real opportunities for women in rural communities.

Through Inka Power Perú, Ethel has created programs that train and empower women to become guides, artisans, and entrepreneurs, turning local knowledge and tradition into sources of pride and income. She believes tourism should connect people across cultures in a way that is conscious, compassionate, and empowering for all involved.

Ethel continues to work hand-in-hand with local communities, ensuring that every journey with Inka Power Perú not only explores Peru’s most beautiful places, but also uplifts its people especially the women who are at the heart of its cultural legacy.
